
Florian Hille

Florian Hille is a German opera singer (bass-baritone) and a distinguished graduate of the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, the Paris Conservatory, and the University of Music in Lausanne.
He is a laureate of the German “Jugend musiziert” competition and the international “Musique Proscrite” competition. His extensive operatic repertoire includes numerous roles, such as Bartolo in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and Don Profondo in Rossini’s The Journey to Reims at the Philharmonie de Paris under the baton of Marco Guidarini. He has also performed as a soloist in Handel’s oratorio Israel in Egypt conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón.
In addition to his work opera, concerts, and oratorios, he made his debut as Jesus in a production of J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion at the Kiel Opera, directed by the renowned theater visionary Robert Wilson. His musical interests also extend to chamber and contemporary repertoire.
