Veronika Vitazkova - ethnic flutes

Veronika Vitazkova is a professional flutist based in Vienna, known for blending genres, styles, and woodwind instruments from around the world. With a deep passion for introducing traditional and nearly forgotten instruments to international audiences, she brings both inspiration and fresh perspectives to the stage.

She is a sought-after classical musician, performing with prominent orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Tonkünstler Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Beethoven Academy Orchestra and the Metropole Orchestra. She also toured as solo flutist with the late maestro Ennio Morricone in major European arenas.

Her love for studio work has led her to contribute to numerous film and TV scores (Netflix, Disney+, Sony, BBC etc.), both as a soloist and orchestral musician at Vienna’s Synchron Stage, London’s AIR Studios or from her home studio.

Born in Bratislava in 1990, she was raised in a musical home where Irish folk, African rhythms, and rock played side by side. She began with the Irish tin whistle and later studied classical flute at the Bratislava Conservatory and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
