Adam Woronowicz, born in Bialystok, is one of Poland’s most respected film, theater and television actors. He graduated from the Theater Academy in Warsaw. He is affiliated with Warsaw’s Rozmaitości Theater and previously also with the National Theater. Known for his remarkably diverse roles, ranging from dramatic to comedic, he has earned the respect of audiences and critics alike. His popularity included the role of Father Jerzy Popieluszko in the film “Popieluszko. Freedom Is Within Us”,“ but also creations in such productions as ”Drogówka”, “Chrzest”, ”Czerwony pająk“, ”Wszystkie nasze strachy“ and ”Śubuk.” He also regularly appears in television series. Winner of many prestigious acting awards, he has long been regarded as an artist of great charisma and technique.
